Peelable lidding film is a tray sealing film engineered with a controlled-release sealing layer that allows the consumer to peel the film from the tray cleanly — without tearing, stretching, or leaving adhesive residue. Peel force is typically 8–25 N/15mm and can be customized for your tray material and consumer preference.
Sealing temperature depends on your lidding film structure and tray material. PET/PE films typically seal at 120–160°C, while PET/CPP films may require 160–200°C. We recommend performing sealing trials with your specific equipment and providing us with machine parameters so we can optimize the film accordingly.
