Standard PE-based heat-seal layers are chemically incompatible with PP tray surfaces. Our PP-specific lidding uses a CPP or mPP seal layer that bonds correctly to PP, giving reliable seal and clean peel performance.
Our standard PP lidding supports high-temperature steam sterilization. For full retort (121–135°C), we offer a retort-grade PP lidding film. Please specify your processing temperature when requesting samples.
PP-based lidding on PP trays is compatible with PP recycling streams, making it a more mono-material recyclable option. We can provide recyclability guidance based on your market requirements.
