Thermoforming Film

High-performance food packaging films with customizable barrier structures — factory direct from Jiangsu, China.

Industrial-Grade Thermoforming Films for Food Packaging

Thermoforming films are used in vacuum-skin and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) lines to deep-draw form the bottom web of rigid or semi-rigid packs. Our films are engineered for consistent performance on high-speed machines.

We offer two primary structures — PA/PE (low temperature) for standard applications and PA/PP (high temperature) for retort and hot-fill packaging — both available with EVOH barrier enhancement for extended shelf life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between PA/PE and PA/PP thermoforming film?+

PA/PE (polyamide/polyethylene) is suitable for low-temperature sealing applications such as fresh meat, seafood, and cheese, with a sealing temperature range of 120–160°C. PA/PP (polyamide/polypropylene) is designed for high-temperature applications including retort packaging and hot-fill products, withstanding up to 135°C processing temperatures.

Can you add EVOH barrier to the film?+

Yes. We offer EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) as an inner barrier layer in both PA/PE and PA/PP structures. EVOH significantly reduces oxygen transmission (≤ 2–3 cm³/m²/day vs ≤ 15–20 without), extending shelf life for oxygen-sensitive products like fresh meat and processed cheese.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+

MOQ is typically 500 kg per specification. For custom widths, thicknesses, or printed films, MOQ may be higher. Please contact us with your specific requirements for a detailed quotation.

How do I know which film fits my machine?+

Please provide your machine brand and model, current film specification (if any), product type and weight, and required shelf life. Our technical team will recommend the optimal film structure and confirm compatibility before sampling.

How long does sampling take?+

Standard samples are dispatched within 5–7 business days. Custom structures may require 10–15 days. We recommend requesting samples early to allow time for testing on your production line.
